Fashot TV Shopping Player

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new interactive shopping player for Fashot TV. The player lets you buy the latest fashion items directly from the video. The affiliate distribution and tracking is managed by our network partner Linkshare and includes major brands like M & S, Top shop and Kurt Geiger. Fashot TV are rapidly growing into the one of the main online video sources for all the latest fashion news and trends. They aim to grow their E-Boutique into a successful shopping channel for the business and from the initial feedback we’re hearing they are definitely on the right track!

We are pleased to announce that the interactive video widget we produced for Dell SMB in partnership with Tradedoubler has been shortlisted by Econsultancy for their 2010 Innovation awards. We would like to thank everyone involved for their dedication and hard work on this project.

French Connection Affiliate Video Widget

We are pleased to announce the launch of our latest affiliate video widget for French Connection

Shoppers can view the outfit videos using the navigation or by clicking the in-video links. Once they have found an outfit they like they can click the product link to visit the French Connection site and make a purchase. Right, now what would my girlfriend like for Christmas….? I know I will post my favourite video to Twitter and get some advice from my girly friends! Amen to social sharing!

What’s new at Scenestealer?

It has been a busy few months at Scenestealer so I thought I’d put together a quick update.

Reflow

We have formally launched our video platform: Reflow. So in addition to producing quality video we’re now able to provide hosting and detailed analytics for the brands we work with. We’re very excited about the power and flexibility of the platform and we’ve been getting some great feedback from clients.  Find out more here.

Clients

We’ve been working on some exciting new projects. We have just finished working with French Connection on an affiliate widget version of their YouTique YouTube application. It is available in two different sizes (small banner and full size player) and has been really popular among fashion affiliates.

We’ve produced some more really great videos for Dell’s SMB team. The Dell widget now contains 105 individual videos – and following a recent shoot we’re adding even more next week. It is becoming THE product comparison tool for Dell’s technology affiliate bloggers.

Our recent production for Aptamil (Danone) was completed last week and we believe it is some of our finest work. The filming consisted of three days at a location in Somerset, a midwife and five sets of mums and babies under one year old! It was eventful but rewarding. We’ll update the site to show them off the final edit.

We’re busy with all sorts of new productions.  Look out for a new widget for a major cosmetics brand soon.

Equipment

The more tech-minded among you may be interested to know that the Aptamil shoot was our first shoot using our brand new XDCam HD Cameras. They were especially useful as it was also a multi-camera shoot.  We’re big fans of the XDCam system.

In addition to KnickerPicker being called the “best example of product page video” in the Econsultancy Best Practice Guide our work has also had a mention in this month’s Wired magazine in their Trend-setting gets a makeover article.  (December ’10, page 48).  It is only a small mention but we’re big fans of Wired so it makes us happy.
